WHAT IS TO COME

Hi y’all!!

It’s a great day to be alive….. I mean but seriously, I hit 1,000 IG followers. Thank you thank you thank you!

NOW, You know what time it is! Time for Real Life Real Talk.

I want to take the time to first say thank you to everyone that has been following along and second say hi to all of my new followers! I appreciate each and every one of you. It is because of you all that Abigail’s Eye has taken some twists and turns and evolved into what it currently is today. Check back next week and it may of completely changed, again 😉 Teasing! In all seriousness my heart is so happy with where Abigail’s Eye is headed.

I started out with the vision that Abigail’s Eye would be a way for me to showcase how I traded my addiction for digitals, decor, and design. With not much to do about my life in recovery and a lot about my love for photography, home decor, and fashion! This quickly changed after a couple of my first blog posts and the messages I received with questions about addiction, which led me to starting my weekly Real Life Real Talk blog posts which are centered completely around addiction. Now just a few months into this whole thing, Abigail’s Eye has everything to do about recovery and my digitals, decor, and design are extras. I have also separated my photography and created Abigail’s Eye Photography, currently building its own business website.

So for those of you that don’t know me: My name is Abigail Lalumandier, I am 25 years old, my sobriety date is 06/09/2015, my dogs name is Tuck (Tucker Reece), my man’s name is Tim (Timothy), I am obsessed with my Tim & Tuck duo, my 9-5 job is working for a company that provides services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, I was born in St. Louis but moved to Dallas when I was 2, so I am definitely a Texan (yee-haw), and lastly I am just a fashion obsessed chick that has learned to live life on life’s terms one day at a time without a single drop of alcohol.

The direction Abigail’s Eye is going just feels right. I have always said there is a reason I am still alive today after escaping death numerous times. In my heart I knew it was to show other young ladies that they too can recover and live a different life, I just didn’t know how I would do that or when that would happen. I believe that time is now and through Abigail’s Eye.

I am not a doctor, I am not a licensed addiction counselor, I am not an expert, I do not have 50 years of sobriety under my belt; but I do know that WE CAN & WE DO recover! I am proof. I hope to share my story and be a voice for this disease that is taking so many of our loved ones life.

I know tonight I did not share anything deep and personal about my addiction or life in recovery but I thought it was important to take a moment and introduce myself to my new followers and address some of the changes to Abigail’s Eye. I hope everyone enjoys the rest of their evening and has a fabulous week.

Thanks for following along  while I shed light on alcoholism and share my passions of digitals, decor, and design. If you have any questions or just want to chat, shoot me a message. Be sure to follow me on Instagram @abigaillalumandier where I post daily!
